I am in the market for a new car after driving my current one for the past 7 years, which I bought from my brother so it's actually older than that. It has been good to me but it is time to move on to something a little more reliable. This past year it has broken down on me three different times. The last one happened the other day and I knew then it was time. None of them were very expensive repairs but I can’t continue to be late for work or not know if I’m going to get to wherever it is I’m driving to. The thing that has kept me from trading it in sooner was that I have had it paid off for the last 3 years. It is really nice not to have a car payment but it isn’t like I can’t afford one. I’ll also be able to put down a rather nice down payment so that will help too of course. I don’t really know what I’m going to get either. I know I want an automatic that gets good gas mileage and has a very high reliability rating.

What I will probably do is narrow it down to 2 or 3 different but similar vehicles than see which dealership will drop their price the lowest. That has worked well for me in the past. I will also have to get car insurance quotes on them as that will factor in too. My friend Cathy drives a Toyota Corolla and told me I should look into getting one too. I know they meet my 3 requirements but I would have to test drive one first. Right now I drive a Chevy and really like them so I want to see what they have out too.

I’m also in the market for a new phone because the one I have now is driving me bonkers! It works fine to make and receive calls but the internet on it is so slow and is always crashing. I have taken it in to get looked at 2 different times and they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Of course each time it worked perfectly fine when I was there. What I might do is switch carriers since my contract is up at the end of the month. I have heard very good things about T-Mobile and might go with them. I’ll have to see what they have to offer first.

How often do you get a new cell phone?

Every year (3 | 30%)
Every 2 years (4 | 40%)
You've reached the bottom. Hope you enjoyed my site! Maybe in the future I'll post more and give you some more super exciting stuff to read!
